Things on my mind:

1. Mallory made salted, dark chocolate, caramel filled, GF cupcakes. They were the best.

2. Last night we cooked for over three hours and with combined effort the product was: ribs, sausage risotto, potato/asparagus/roasted pepper salad, cole slaw, fresh bread, and apple pie. Yum.

3. Today the prices of airfare went down a little. Here’s hoping to a little more!

4. Yesterday we were invited by the VMFA to document Picasso inspired fashion for uglybluesweater’s blog. We also bought rings made out of recycled plastic.

5. The French Film Festival is coming to the Byrd this weekend and the French ambassador will be there! Can’t wait to eat a Greek gyro and watch French documentaries!

6. I’ve been working on the new Hillside website/catalog for three days with only breaks for eating and sleeping (and blogging!). I feel like such a hacker/nerd. It’s looking great and you all better buy something when it’s done!

7. I learned how to make grilled cheese! Yay! I’m only 5 years late on completing the last step of adolescence!

8. Next week I’ll be hanging out with my sister and swimming in the pool at LA Fitness!
