I’m back from a great first week in Cambodia. We went to the sea with some missionaries from Holland. It gave me a chance to get to know everyone. I think I’ll just make a list in order of what happened once we got there.

1.) Apparently Osama Bin Laden died.

2.) I ate barracuda.

3.) I got a “fish massage”. It feels how it sounds.

4.) I swam in coral.

5.) I caught a crab.

6.) I caught a fish with my bare hands.

7.) I got a nice tan everywhere except for my back which I forgot to apply sunscreen to. It’s a nice red color.

8.) We played kickball in the sand.

9.) We skipped stones.

10.) We saw monkeys.

11.) I ate squid and seaweed rice.

12.) I witnessed my first monsoon and swam in the sea during it.

13.) I had a mango shake.

This weekend I’m going to do some cultural/history stuff and then start language training and teaching next week. Now I’m going to turn off my computer before it catches on fire.
