Today I met two Chinese girls who knew a little English (one more than the other). One of the girls has a cool story. She was born in Cambodia but her family fled the country during the Khmer Rouge when she was a baby. So she grew up in Taiwan and moved to Los Angeles to go to college. Now she is back in Cambodia to be a missionary to “her people.” I think that’s really cool.

It was nice to hangout with females for once. One of the girls is closer to my age and I’m going to Chinese church with her on Sunday. Anyways, it was a good day and I was able to practice language a lot. Now, as my Nana used to say, GOODNIGHT IRENE.
